Exam
We will follow the AQA A Level English Literature B specification. Students will follow the AS course in Year 12 and the A Level course in Year 13 if they opt to.
A Level English Literature also has a Non Examined Assessment in the form of controlled assessment which constitutes 20% of the final course percentage . Students write two assessments each worth 10% : one on narrative theory and one of feminist literary theory.
- Paper 1 - Literary Genres, Tragedy: Richard II and King Lear. (2.5 Hours). Closed book exam. 40% of marks available
